Origins: The Power of Personal Story

Welcome to Origins: The Power of Personal Story.

This training is part of the Human-Centered YOUnity® training series created by Spark! Strategic Solutions.

Origins is a story development training that offers you space and time to revisit your journey from where you were to where you are.
We all have a story and before we can understand others, we must understand ourselves.

The intention of this training is to reflect upon the roads that have been traveled that led leaders to their current destination of working within their field and organization.

This training gives participants a deeper opportunity to connect with themselves and others.
WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

Origins: The Power of Personal Story

  1. Recognize an increased self-awareness and identify the relationship between your personal story, lived experience, and leadership position.
  2. Examine your personal journey and origin story as it relates to how you interact with the world.
  3. Employ new skills  to recharge and combat conflict fatigue / burnout.
  4. Develop methods to facilitate tough conversations with grace.
EXPLORATION QUESTIONS

  • Where am I from?
  • What have I conquered? What am I conquering?
  • Why am I here – at this organization or this role?
